A Shorten Labor Government will invest $4.45 million to support the construction of the first Vietnamese Cultural Centre and Museum in Australia.

My electorate of Hotham is the home to over 8000 Vietnamese Australians and they all have their own unique story. I was fortunate enough last year to welcome a delegation of Vietnamese leaders, from across Australia, to Canberra, where we discussed the ongoing human rights issues in Vietnam and learnt more about their journey from war-torn Vietnam to Australia.
